Preventing pressure ulcers in emergency departments

Prevention Emergency Project – preventive measures for pressure ulcer (PEP), was a patient care innovation project run by the emergency department at Karolinska Huddinge in collaboration with Mölnlycke. A new process to effectively prevent pressure ulcers among patients in the risk zone was developed involving most services at the hospital, as well as five ambulance companies.

Algorithms and IT – new weapon against HAI
