Karolinska University Hospital is one of the largest university hospitals in Europe. Together with the world-renowned Karolinska Institutet (KI), we are at the forefront of medical breakthroughs with the aim of knowing more tomorrow than we know today.

Karolinska University Hospital dates back to 1932 when the construction of the former Karolinska Hospital began.

Karolinska once again achieves a prominent position in Newsweek magazine's ranking "World's Best Hospitals". For the fifth year in a row, the hospital is in the top 10 and ranks seventh in the world.
