"I look forward with great anticipation and humility to leading the Women's Health and Health Professions theme. I have worked in women's health care throughout my entire professional life and know it well. It is with extra curiosity that I will now also get to know the important professional groups included in the health professions," says Corinne Pedroletti.

At Karolinska, she will be part of the hospital's management council and report to the hospital director.

CEO Björn Zoëga emphasizes Corinne Pedroletti's strong foundation in healthcare combined with a clear leadership philosophy.

"Karolinska's strategic direction towards decentralized decisions, simplified processes, reduced administration, and focus on the patients is successful. The strategy requires confident leaders with the power to lead through change. Corinne possesses these qualities," says Björn Zoëga.

Corinne Pedroletti has previously been the director of operations at Södersjukhuset. She has also represented the West region in the

national program area, NPO, for Women's Diseases and Childbirth. NPO is part of the organization for knowledge management in Sweden.
