EUHA

The EUHA networks enable knowledge exchange and a mutual platform that can be used to influence decision-makers, industry, and other stakeholders.

The European University Hospital Alliance (EUHA) is a European organization founded in 2017. It includes ten leading European university hospitals working together to develop and improve university hospital care for patients and healthcare workers.

Europe's university hospitals have a unique role in the healthcare system, with responsibility for providing care, research, and education, and often face the same challenges. The EUHA networks enable knowledge exchange and a mutual platform that can be used to influence decision-makers, industry, and other stakeholders. Collectively, The EUHA's university hospitals have more than 220,000 employees, conduct more than 300 funded research and development projects, and perform more than 6,000 clinical studies.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the ten university hospitals have supported and learned from each other and have created forums for discussion within various occupational categories.

The networks for information-sharing within different professions and for researchers, joint educational initiatives, and promotion of international exchanges are just a few examples of the opportunities the EUHA has created.
